What are vocal presets?

A vocal preset is akin to an Instagram filter, but for your voice. It's a pre-configured set of audio effects that can be applied to vocals to shape their sound. In the past, achieving professional-quality vocals required years of training, access to high-end recording studios, and significant financial investment. However, nowadays artists can simply purchase a vocal preset and create mixed, studio-quality vocals right from their own bedroom.

Why use vocal presets?

Using a vocal preset can deliver the desired results quickly and efficiently. Listening to unprocessed vocals can be underwhelming. Applying a pre-mix to your vocals can boost your confidence during the recording process, enhance your song, and help you achieve your desired sound.

Our presets

Our vocal presets are designed specifically for Adobe Audition. While we offer a few "Studio Rack" vocal presets that can be used with any DAW, the majority of our vocal preset offerings are tailored for Adobe Audition. We provide two types of Audition-specific vocal presets - "Stock" presets that utilize the built-in effects in Audition, as well as "Waves" presets that leverage "Waves Audio" plugins. These presets are styled after the vocal treatments used by today's top-charting artists. The presets are not designed to turn you into those artists, but rather to give you a similar sonic profile and mixing approach.
